Where Can I Find The Best Resume Writing Companies In Edmonton?
Where Can I Find The Best Resume Writing Companies In Edmonton?Resume writing companies in Edmonton are not as rare as you might think. Many people in the Edmonton area, with the popularity of the city and the most recent boom in the oil industry, have found that using a company to write their resumes has become increasingly popular. If you are going to be applying for jobs in the oil industry, or any other kind of job, it is important to keep yourself prepared. Not only will your resume be used by potential employers, but there is always the chance that it could be read by others. Therefore, it is important to make sure that it is a high quality document and has been properly written to meet your specific needs.Skills and experience are the most important things to consider when writing a resume. Although it may seem counterintuitive, the content and style of your resume may be the only thing that matters to an employer, so it is important to focus on those skills and experience as w ell.It is possible to separate and eliminate some of the skills and experience that may be useful to employers if they are in some of the same or similar areas, but the fact is that in most cases these skills and experience are necessary for a job. The key is to find what you need, and leave the rest. If you do not specify which skills and experience you need, then you may end up being treated like a resume for someone else who does not have the necessary experience. You will also want to think about creating your own resume to avoid paying for one from a company. There are many free resume writing companies in Edmonton. These websites offer hundreds of different services, including sample resumes, reference checks, and even resume editing.Free resume writing companies in Edmonton do not charge a fee for the use of their websites. They are not actually writers themselves but instead offer access to several websites that may be relevant to your needs. A resume that has been written fo r someone else will not be professional and is best avoided. Before choosing one company to submit your resume to, make sure that it is a reputable company. Many of the sites are closely monitored and you can verify this by looking at the many testimonials that are posted on the website. You will also want to make sure that you are dealing with a company that can handle your needs, so that you can rest assured that they are capable of producing a good document that will help you get the job that you want.

20 Highest Paying Freelance Skills Right Now
20 Highest Paying Freelance Skills Right Now Freelancing is more lucrative than ever, with some gig workers raking in more than $100 an hour, new data shows. But donât start frothing at the mouth just yet, cubicle warrior. That kind of dough still doesnât come easy. Researchers at the online freelancing platform Upwork combed through the billings completed on their site in 2017, and gave MONEY a list of skills that commanded the highest rates. The highest-paid skills, which earn up to six times what the average freelancer makes, were also the most rare. âThe more specialized you are, the more premium youâre going to command,â says Rich Pearson, Upworkâs Senior VP of Marketing. âThese are pretty unique skills in the marketplace.â Technology skills dominate, with expertise in artificial intelligence, programming, and cloud computing making up 75% of the list. âNetwork Analysis,â which involves complex datasets and virtual systems, is the best-paid skill by a long shot â" averaging a whopping $200 an hour, according to Upwork. âComputer vision,â a component of AI development, averages $145 an hour. The third and fourth highest-paid skills, âChef.io,â a programming language, and âneural networks,â a component of machine learning, average $140 an hour each. Knowledge of spatial analysis, which involves designing programs for self-driving cars, nabs $110 an hour. And knowing how to program for Apple Watch can fetch you $110 an hour as well. A few non-tech skills will also nab freelancers a hefty sum: Intellectual property law experts earn an average $120 an hour, and legal professionals in trade and privacy law make about $115 an hour. Freelancers who know how to write a catchy jingle, or do âad lyrics writing,â make an average of $100 an hour. The data speaks to what many have long suspected â" that freelancing isnât just a between-jobs crutch; itâs an intrinsic part of our workforce. And as more employers inside and outside the tech industry look beyond their walls to fill skill gaps, itâs a rare look at what they value most. âThereâs a surge of new freelancers at the beginning of every year,â Pearson says. âIf I was a freelancer today, this is where I would focus my energy.â Hereâs the full list: Top 20 Lucrative Skills for Freelancers Network analysis ($200) Computer vision ($145) Chef.io ($140) Neural networks ($140) Firmware engineering ($130) Hardware prototyping ($130) Cloud computing ($125) Intellectual property law ($120) Trade law ($115) Privacy law ($115) Spatial analysis ($110) Apple Watch ($110) NetSuite development ($110) Acquisition strategy ($110) Algorithm development ($100) Software debugging ($100) Digital signal processing ($100) Ad lyrics writing ($100) Natural language processing ($100) Data processing ($100)

My Secret for Finding Work-Life Balance Has Nothing to Do With Achieving It And Thats Why It Works
My Secret for Finding Work-Life Balance Has Nothing to Do With Achieving It And Thats Why It Works Crystal Haggard is an e-commerce merchandiser at Zwift, a working mother and wife, an avid cyclist and an athlete ambassador for a number of brands. But despite her many commitments, she mucksmuschenstill maintains a healthy balance between her work and life. So, how does Haggard do it? She says she reminds herself of one simple thing If you dont make the time, you wont find it.Its a work in progress and all too easy to be knocked off balance, she adds, challenging the idea that work-life balance is something to be achieved rather than maintained. She also says that Zwifts work-hur flexibility is central to helping her juggle the balance. She recently chatted with Fairygodboss about how she maintains a balance between work and life and Zwifts support in helping her make the time. She also shared her No. 1 piece of advice for other women who want to excel in their personal and professiona l lives.Tell me a bit about your current role. What are your priorities? Zwift requires a bit of specialized equipment to start using and it can be a bit intimidating to new users to identify exactly what they need to start riding or running on our platform. As a departement, the ecomm merchandising kollektiv is focused on smoothing the shopping and onboarding experience and fueling the love for the brand once a user is converted. My specific focus is to bring soft goods and apparel to life for our users. I get to help them celebrate being part of our incredible community, as well as the experiences and mileshres they achieve using our platform. Theres also an element of brand awareness that were trying to drive with the products were creating and its a fun challenge to work with the brand and creative teams to find a commercially viable way to bring our brand to life.Paint a picture of a typical day for me. Whats the first thing you do when you wake up and the last thing you do befo re you go to sleep?I dont have a typical day which is part of the way I find work-life balance. Im fortunate not to have to punch a clock, which allows me to be flexible with other areas of my life. I have a long commute, even for LA standards, so Ill often work from home for an hour or so until traffic eases up and then stay in the schreibstube into the evening to minimize car time.I have a husband, 7-year-old son and dog at home. Leaving work after rush hour means I miss dinner most nights, so instead we all wake up and do family breakfast together. Starting the morning with slowing down and making time for each other sets a great tone for the rest of the day and makes me feel relaxed and happy. When my husband is traveling for work about one week a month, Ill leave the geschftszimmer at 4 p.m. to pick my son up from after school care by 6 p.m. After he goes to bed, Ill work for a couple more hours if I need. This flexibility in my work schedule allows me to be present where and w hen I need it most.Photo of Haggard and her son, courtesy of Zwift. What does balance mean to you, and in what ways do you feel like youve achieved it? I think balance is a constant practice and not something you can ever fully achieve. I not only attempt to balance family and work, but also a pretty serious events calendar riding with a nonprofit cycling team called Leave It On The Road. We organize epic rides to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.Im an athlete ambassador for a handful of other cycling brands, including Specialized, SRAM and Rapha. With their support, I lead quarterly rides with the main goal of getting more women into cycling. I also volunteer with The Outride Foundation, an organization working to prove that cycling benefits your brain. This year, Ill be teaming up with some local middle schools that have newly implemented Outride cycling programs to speak to kids and get them excited about the doors that bikes can open for them. It all sounds like a lot, but when looking through everything Im working on, its clear there is a common thread of bicycles. I love staying busy and dont enjoy turning off, so everything I have a hand in overlaps. This helps erase the feeling of work and creates an overall lifestyle that I feel energized by. Cycling has provided me with the most incredible opportunities and introduced me to the best people I know (including my husband). I get joy from building community and helping to provide others with opportunities to have new experiences.Attaining work-life balance cant be done solo. What people, resources, and tools do you rely on to get it all done?My husband is incredibly instrumental in helping me feel balanced. Hes a commercial photographer and filmmaker and typically is traveling one week a month. Otherwise, most of his work is post-production from our home office. When hes in town, he takes care of the grocery shopping, cooking, school drop off and pickup, and other chores, which provid es me the ability to skew my office hours around rush hour, get some training in and lead weekend bike rides. When hes out of town, I lean heavily on Instacart to make sure groceries are delivered while Im stuck in traffic. We both race a lot of the same bike events and he also rides for Leave It On The Road with me.When were both traveling, we rely on his mom to come into town and take care of our son and dog. We also incorporate our son in a ton of our traveling and most of our training. On weekends, well pull him behind us on a Tout Terrain Streamliner, which is a half-wheel bike that connects to the back of our bikes and allows him to pedal with us. Its great family time, solid training and makes us all happy.Whats one misconception you think exists around work-life balance today?A misconception I often hear is that work-life balance is something you can hold on to. Really, its a work in progress and all too easy to be knocked off balance. I recently went through a two-week peri od where I couldnt find time to ride at all and found myself feeling depressed and unable to sleep at night. When Im feeling like this, I remind myself If you dont make the time, you wont find it. Its like putting your oxygen mask on first doing the things that bring you joy also bring you health, and you cant take care of others if you arent taking care of yourself first.Lets talk about your companys culture. Whats your favorite aspect of it, and how does your employer aid you in achieving balance?Zwift is an amazing company to work at. We do Wednesday wohlbefinden group rides and runs, group yoga classes and lunch and learns, as well as really cool fitness benefits like earning a new bike and company-reimbursed race fees. This winter, Im participating in a 24-hour MTB race with a team of four other co-workers, including our COO. Having not only the encouragement of the company to do this but the top-down example of taking time out of the office to participate in these types of eve nts is really refreshing.Whats something you think most people (perhaps even current employees) dont know about your company that you think they should?Everyone I talk to thinks Zwift is still a small startup. When they find out were at 300+ employees, theyre shocked. Once I explain the complexities that bring Zwift to life, what were working on and some of the exciting things in our trajectory, it all makes sense.Whats the No. 1 piece of advice you would give to other women who want to excel professionally and personally? If you dont make the time, you wont find it. Even if you can only carve out 30 minutes, take that time to do the things that fuel you and share that passion with those around you. This helps build company culture from within and gives permission to those around you to do the same. I know for myself, if Im happier, I work much more efficiently. Also, build a network of other women inside and outside your company who you can lean on and dont be afraid to speak up when you see something that needs to be changed. Chances are youre not the only one.--Fairygodboss is proud to partner with Zwift. Find a job there today

Streamlined student visas puts focus on education
Streamlined student visas puts focus on education Streamlined student visas puts focus on educationPosted November 12, 2013, by Andrea Riddell Theres good news for international students looking to study in Australia the new government is streamlining the student visa application process, a change that is set to help overseas applicants and open up the Australian higher education sector. Scheduled for implementation in 2014, the new visa processes will also apply to 22 low-risk non-university education providers for students enrolled in bachelor, masters or PhD degrees or eligible exchange programs. Minister for Education, Christopher Pyne, acknowledged the contribution of the vocational education and training sector to the Australian economy. These changes would allow the vocational training sector to contribute mora freely to our plan to restore Australias tertiary education system to its former peak of almost $19 billion in export income for the nation, Mr Pyne said. If we cut re d tape and allow more students into Australia to access a world-class tertiary education, we all stand to gain. Under the new processing arrangements, overseas students will only need to go through three levels instead of five as part of a streamlined assessment-level framework (ALF). Students will also have more flexibility when providing financial evidence, meaning many students will be able to apply for a student visa with up to $40,000 less in the bank. It is believed that these changes will attract more international students, benefit Australias education system, create more jobs and stimulate Australias economy.
